My First Markdown
This is my first entry using Markdown. Hooray! Sometimes really nerdy stuff like this really gets me excited. I just discovered this today and this is my first test post on the blog.
What’s Markdown? Well it’s a markup language like HTML only much simpler. Basically, it’s a simple format for typing in plain text and adding formatting like italics or bold or links without having to type a lot of extraneous code. Plus, it’s much easier to look while editing. Very handy for us bloggers who want to add a lot of stuff to our posts but hate typing out HTML code.
