I don't feel like blogging

Man, I so don’t feel like posting to the blog. Not at all. I don’t feel like taking photos. I don’t feel like picking photos, uploading photos, labeling photos, and linking photos to my blog posts. I don’t feel like blah blah blah detailing every little obsessive boring detail. What’s the matter with you people? Why do you read this crap? I don’t even want to write it! Get a life!

How can you even look at this ugly page? This site is so damn ugly, I can’t stand it. It’s a lot like my broken house. Not as dusty but just as uncomfortable. Ugh. It’s so embarrassing that this blog is so ugly even tho I’m a graphic designer. But who has time to screw around with designing this site? Who has time to write blog posts and take 8 thousand photos of their construction project?

I just want it done. Done done done done done done.

I Hate Laundromat

I had a very short list of stuff to do before the drywall in the kitchen gets done. But after I got back from vacation, I couldn’t really get motivated to do any of it. I really just wanted to hang out with Vicki now that she was back instead of go vacuum up drywall dust.

But now I’m in the swing of things. I’m getting it done. I should be ready for the drywall extravaganza after this weekend.

I put up all this leftover pink foam stuff in the wall of the laundry room. I’m using it to block off an area to blow cellulose insulation behind. It’s kind of OCD, but I’m really sick of heard the neighbors dog bark constantly. I’m blocking it out as much as I can. I hope it’ll hold. It’s not that sturdy, but

I ran this plastic conduit to Vicki’s office so I can run ethernet or whatever cable I want to very easily. And replace it when it’s outdated. It’s future-proof! Except that the future is probably all wireless. Vicki just got a new laptop and its’ connected to the internet wirelessly right now. I’m installing stuff that’s already obsolete.

Also, I’ve been running through some tests with the plumbing. As much as I can, at least. I hooked up the washer and dryer. After about 3 trips to the hardware store for the right parts to connect the gas to the dryer, I hooked them up. And they work beautifully. And they were only $150. I love Craigslist. And I’m sick of the laundromat. I’ll have to unhook these before I can finish the laundry room this weekend, but it’s worth all the work to hook it up for two days just to do some laundry. That’s how sick of the Laundromat I am.
